WW1 at Sea

Exhibition graphic design

In World War I, Britain’s war at sea was fought on an epic scale with terrible human loss. This is largely forgotten today. The graphic language of this exhibition takes inspiration from Dazzle painting – geometric lines and pastel colours used to camouflage ships at sea. Large environmental graphics contextualize objects in cases and on digital screens, carrying the exhibition visual language and giving visitors more information.

In collaboration with Simon Milthorpe and Joyce Bishara.
